Project Examples
MGK Consulting and our consulting partners have been involved in dozens of large and small scale diversity organizational change processes. These projects have involved Fortune 500 companies, non-profit and government agencies and global development agencies. We have worked on 5 continents. Selected examples:
Financial Services Industry
Project: Consulted to Top 5 U.S. Bank Finance Division to create a diversity strategy, develop and facilitate the Diversity Council, coach the CFO and leadership team, develop internal capacity, conduct 4-day diversity awareness and skills building workshop for managers and 2-day workshop for all employees.
ResultAS: A diversity strategic plan, alignment with corporate goals, increased management accountability, improved recruitment and retention systems, increased participation of Women, People of Color, Gays and Lesbians.
Consulting Industry
Project: Created and facilitate a 7 month diversity skill development process for selected senior managers at a large 20,000 employee international consulting firm.
Results: Increased awareness of diversity issues, demonstrable and measurable skill development, a personal action plan for each participant that has resulted in:
- successful targeted development of traditionally excluded group
- enhanced productivity
- reduced costs of turnover, hiring and onboarding
- improved decision making
International Development Agency
Project: Part of an international project team that worked with a large, international development organization in Africa applying concepts of Emotional Intelligence, Gestalt Psychology, Cultural Diversity and Organization Development to 90 participants over 6 months.
Results: Leadership skill development that was directly and immediately applied in the creation of special projects to address major health and social services challenges.
Environmental Organization
Project: Partner in a project to create and implement a diversity and inclusion cultural change process in a large New England environmental organization, including: creating and facilitating the diversity council, conducted a large scale organizational assessment, advising to the creation of a strategic plan, rolling out a leadership development process, and coaching the CEO.
Results: A robust and multi-faceted organizational change initiative.

- Engagement of the whole organization in the planning and development process
